HOT HATHA I-II

Description: This class draws from various lineages of Hatha yoga. These classes emphasize alignment and weave postures with poetic reflections and teachings. Hatha classes cultivate strength, balance, flexibility, and attuned awareness. My class is Tantra focused, with a strong focus on the breath first – moving into yoga poses to alter the breath, energy, and thus the mind.

GENTLE YOGA

Description: This gentle yoga class provides a safe, effective, compassionate, non-competitive environment that is welcoming to all. Gentle yoga classes are appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported, and relaxing practice.

GENTLE YOGA

Description: This gentle yoga class provides a safe, effective, compassionate, non-competitive environment that is welcoming to all. Gentle yoga classes are appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported, and relaxing practice.

FRIDAYS @ 5:30 – 6:30 PM
REIKI RESTORATIVE YOGA

Description: A gentle and nurturing practice that uses props, such as bolsters and blankets, to support the body in deep relaxation. Postures are held for longer periods of time in order to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and to encourage the body and mind to experience peaceful surrender. This is a wonderful class for anyone who would like to slow down, calm the mind, connect to their breath and deepen their yoga practice. Restore the body and spirit, and leave feeling nourished and well-rested. A bolster can provide various supports to your spine, same as a firm pillow, or a rolled-up thick towel (think sushi roll!)

Private Sessions

Private Yoga Classes are a great way to work on your goals, receive undivided attention, ask questions, and practice yoga poses specific to your needs and physical requirements. It offers a little more than group yoga classes. Learn more about the different Private Sessions you can experience.

Corporate Yoga

You can also experience these sessions with your colleagues for your organization’s wellness events (Corporate Yoga sessions). These can be held at your workplace. Better yet, Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre (which I am on the Board of Directors) can host your corporate session – this place is surrounded by nature. You can combine it with meetings in this beautiful setting (it has a kitchen, chairs, a labyrinth, and other amenities).

Online Community

We offer occasional classes (free or by donation). These include meditations, restorative yoga, tea ceremonies (based on our folk herbalism background), and other experiences. You can join the community for free. We love to post regular, useful resources.
